Event: A Talk with Underground Cartoonist Mike Diana

Description: In 1994 Mike Diana (b.1969) became the first artist ever to receive a criminal conviction for obscenity for artwork in the United States. This is the first time in 15 years Diana will return to Florida. Diana will deliver an illustrated talk reflecting on his experiences both prior, during and after the conviction. Follwed by Miami-based quartet Baby B Strings, who will debut their original arrangement of one of Modest Mussorgsky's most famous works, "Pictures at an Exhibition."
