Chuck Close
Born Monroe, Washington 1940. Lives New York.
Chuck Close is one of America’s
most important living artists and has explored the art of printmaking

experimentation with varied forms and processes. The prints were
acquired following MAM’s 2004 presentation of the exhibition Chuck
Close Prints: Process and Collaboration organized by
Blaffer Gallery, the Art Museum of the University of Houston.
