Education

Making Miami Art Museum a lively place for lifelong learning is at the heart of the Museum’s mission. Miami Art Museum inspires new ways of seeing and thinking through a dynamic roster of educational programming for visitors of all ages. Every year, Miami Art Museum reaches more than 30,000 people through its educational programming; it has the largest art education program outside the Miami-Dade County public school system. The move to a new, expanded facility at Museum Park, scheduled for completion in 2013, will allow Miami Art Museum to further expand the reach of its educational programming through an educational complex, a resource for the entire community.

  • Teachers and Students (ages 5 to 18)
MAM offers public and private school tours for K-12 students and resources for teachers. MAM’s lively, interactive tours are designed to develop an understanding of modern and contemporary art while encouraging self-expression at every grade level.

  • Youth and Family
MAM offers an array of fun programs and activities for families at the museum and in the community throughout the year.

  • Adults

MAM’s programs for adults, college and university students include lectures, gallery talks and exhibition tours.

  • Access Programs
