In addition to all the regular benefits of MAM membership, Friends and Museum Circle Members enjoy a number of special programs and exclusive events including tours of collections in private homes, opportunities to meet visiting artists and lecturers and invitations to special events. Periodically, the Friends and Museum Circle members take day and weekend trips to cities here and abroad to visit museums, galleries and private collections.

MAM Art Treks
Discover the world of art happening in our own community. MAM curators guide you on a series of neighborhood bus tours featuring studio visits with emerging and established artists, gallery talks and access to a number of private collections throughout the year. By subscription.
First Look
Friends and Museum Circle Members are invited to an informal series of presentations featuring visiting artists and curators in conjunction with MAM exhibitions. Those who attend also get a behind- the- scenes look at the installation in progress with the MAM curator in charge or the artist.

Art Trips
Friends and above members are invited each fall to join other members for travel opportunities to leading destinations in the U.S. for visits to private collections, artists studios and museums.
VIP Tours
You are invited to bring a group of business associates, friends and clients to MAM for a curator-led tour of the exhibitions on view. These 45-minute tours are for 10 to 25 friends that you would like to introduce to the museum. MAM staff will be happy to assist you in identifying lunchtime venues in the area.
MAM Collectors Council MAM members at the Friends and above levels are invited to join the Collectors Council. MAM Collectors Council is a group made up of museum members and supporters dedicated to the growth of MAM's permanent collection. The group functions under the direction of MAM curators. MAM's Collectors Council serves as an advocacy and fundraising group for acquisitions for MAM's permanent collection. Comprising both beginning and seasoned collectors, the Council offers participants the opportunity to have firsthand access to artists, curators, dealers and other collectors who share an interest in contemporary art.
Supporters donate $5,000 annually to participate in the Collectors Council.
The group meets three times a year to look at works that MAM's curators have submitted for consideration.

Exclusive Spring Trips for Museum Circle and Above Members Springtime means it's time for the annual Museum Circle and Above Members trip. Enjoy travel opportunities to international art capitals, visiting outstanding private collections worldwide. These trips also offer unique opportunities to explore museums, both new and expanding, along with local curators and museum directors as well as to join recognized and emerging artists in their studios to gain insights into the creative process that lies behind each work of art. Private Receptions Hosted events at private homes and special venues. These events are frequently held in conjunction with Upper Gallery exhibitions to welcome artists, curators and scholars to Miami.
