* Miami Art Museum will be closed on all Miami Dade County-observed holidays including Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Tours
All groups, including self-guided groups must schedule in advance.

At Miami Art Museum
Bag Check
The Museum requires visitors to check backpacks of any size, shopping bags, handbags 9 x 14 inches (23 x 35.5 cm) or larger, laptops, and umbrellas.
Cameras
Photography/videotaping are not permitted in galleries. Photography/videotaping are permitted in the lobby only.
Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is not permitted in the Museum's galleries.
Food and Drinks
Food and drinks are permitted only in the lobby and may not be carried into the galleries or other areas.
No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Museum.
Sketching
Sketching is permitted in the galleries (pencil only, no ink or paint) with sketchbooks no larger than 8 ½ x 11 inches (21.6 x 27.9 cm). No easels, stools, or sketching while sitting on the floor is permitted.
Strollers
Baby strollers are permitted at all times, however oversized bags, food or drink accompanying stroller most be checked.
Mobility Access
All galleries and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Services Desk free of charge. Elevator to second level galleries is located at rear of plaza level gallery.
Nearby Hotels
JW Marriott Marquis is the official hotel of the Miami Art Museum. It is located at 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Miami, Florida, just blocks from the Museum.
