Group Tours

Tuesday - Saturday, by appointment. Private tours led by trained museum guides are available year-round, by appointment. Tours are offered in English and Spanish for groups of six or more. Tuesdays through Saturdays during regular museum hours. Group tour rates are $6 for adults and $3 for seniors. For details and reservations contact MAM's education office at 305-375-4073.

Sunday Tours

Miami Art Museum offers free, guided tours by museum docents and trained guides every Sunday at 2 pm. Drop-in visitors meet in the museum lobby. Tours are free with museum admission

 

Access Tours

MAM provides Touch Tours of public art all year upon request and especially in October as part of the international program Art Beyond Sight, which promotes awareness of the needs of people with visual impairments. Audio descriptive tours of certain exhibitions are offered as well. Large-print Gallery Notes, as well as text panels and exhibition labels are available for our patrons at the Information Desk and Visitors Gallery. MAM furnishes sign language interpretation upon request, with advance notice (please allow two weeks for coordination).

University Student & Self-guided Tours

Tuesday - Sunday, by appointment. University class groups can request docent-guided tours of current exhibitions. Class groups may also schedule self-guided visits during afternoon hours Tuesday through Sunday. As a courtesy, we ask that you make an appointment in advance. There is no admission charge for university groups.

Class visits may not be scheduled during special events or exhibition previews. Please notify MAM in advance if you are planning a self-guided visit to ensure your trip does not coincide with other group visits.
